Kristie Rose has always been an athlete. She grew up in a water centric family. She first learned to swim as a toddler, began water skiing at age 4, and has been cliff jumping for as long as she can remember. When she was 11, her father taught her how to surf which further cemented her life long love affair with the ocean. She loved gymnastics as a kid but quickly grew taller than most. In her early teens, she began playing both indoor and beach volleyball very competitively throughout grade school and high school. She suffered some injuries and began to study Pilates and Yoga as a form of rehabilitation in her years at University of San Diego.

In 2007, Kristie Rose earned her certification in Mat Pilates and Biomechanics at Self-Preservations in San Diego. Soon after her graduation, She began to work on her 200-hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Corepower Yoga Huntington Beach where she was able to study under some amazing instructors including Nicolette David, David Miller and Kat Sand.

During her time with Corepower Yoga, Kristie taught over 5,000 yoga classes. She helped open 8 new studios, trained hundreds of new teachers, developed and facilitated Advanced Education for seasoned teachers and facilitated the various lifestyle programs the company offers from Nutrition Coaching to Boot Camps.

In 2013 She became a lululemon ambassador for Calabasas while she was the Studio Manager of Corepower Yoga Encino.
